What's a Tartufo?

A tartufo, sometimes referred to as an ice cream truffle or ice cream tartufo, is an Italian dessert that originated in Pizzo, Calabria. A tartufo typically consists of one or more flavors of ice cream, a chocolate or nut coating, and sometimes features a sweet fruit-based center.
